Winter in the Finger Lakes

Winter is truly a wonderland in Cayuga County and the Finger Lakes region with glistening trees, crystal clear lakes and sparkling blankets of snow over our rolling farmlands.   Take to the trails and enjoy cross-country skiing at Sterling Lake Shore Park and Nature Center on Lake Ontario or snowmobile through beautiful Fillmore Glen State Park in Moravia.  Then spend a relaxing evening at the newly renovated Auburn Public Theater featuring first-rate plays, comedy acts, dance, theater and musical productions throughout the year.   Winter is also a great time to refresh and restore yourself in the Finger Lakes.  Visit The Center, “a sanctuary for healing, a spa for wellness” in Auburn for massages, facials, yoga, aromatherapy, luminous healing and much more.   Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or prefer viewing our winter wonderland from the inside out, a winter visit to Cayuga County and the Finger Lakes is sure to be memorable.
