A Dog’s Life
By Coco

Hello hello hello!  My name is Coco. I am an American Water Spaniel living in the heart of Cayuga County -- heaven on earth!

Thanks to my human I’ve traveled from Auburn, to Fair Haven, to Aurora and more.  An expert on this area, I know our beaches, parks and festivals can’t be beat.

I am crazy for our beautiful water and shorelines.  We have access to eight lakes – including Lake Ontario.  Humans here love the fresh water fishing, sailing, canoeing, and swimming. Me too!

Like any girl I also enjoy shopping and antiquing in our friendly villages.  I also often hear my humans get excited about our wine trail. (I stick with water, thanks!)  And, at the end of a busy day I always look forward to relaxing at our dog-friendly hotels or comfy bed and breakfasts.

Funny thing about humans, I’ve noticed that the more time they spend in our county, the more relaxed they get. Must be that “Lake Effect” phenomenon working its magic.  Hope to see you soon in Cayuga County!

Coco’s Bio:

I have 10 brothers and sisters.  We kept my mother busy!  Her name is Angel, and she’s an award winner in agility, therapy, and obedience. (I’m not quite as well behaved…)
My Pop’s name is Dreamer.  He too excels in obedience and agility. Pop was in charge of keeping us in line. He did his best!

My sister Libby lives here in Cayuga County, too. We love to swim in her pond and play with the frogs.  Our current project is digging for woodchucks. So far we haven’t had any luck. Those woodchucks are pretty wiley…

Shopping is a Sport
