Every summer, people from around the world gather in Auburn, Geneva, Syracuse and Rochester, NY for the annual New York Dance Festival. This annual Multicultural Festival brings the explosively diverse dance, drum, and music scene of New York City, and the world, to beautiful Upstate New York. The Festival runs the middle two weeks of July and offers something for everyone! The Festival includes: the New York Summer Dance Intensive, the New York Drum Festival, the New York Musical Theater Project, the Carmen De Lavallade Awards, Fellowships, Residencies, and a World Class Concert Series. With critically acclaimed live musical concerts, world-class dance, musical theater, guest lecturers, and a Gala Event, the two week Cultural Festival creates a world stage for dance, drum and music in the Finger Lakes.

Auburn Public Theater’s 3rd Annual Summer Theater Program is one of Central New York’s newest summer theater program, run by children and for children. It will give aspiring young actors a taste of life behind the scenes--and in the spotlight--of a musical theatrical production.
