Finger Lakes Region ON THE WATER Guide Now Available

Things to see & do in, on and around our waterways

Water Wonderland brochure imageIt may seem like spring is a long way off, but it’s never too early to start planning your water-based activities once the snow has cleared.   Whether you enjoy fishing, scuba diving or just hiking around the waterways, the new Finger Lakes region ‘On the Water!’ guide will help you find your way to the many recreational water activities in the region.

The new guide includes attractions to visit along the Erie Canal, Owasco Lake, Cayuga Lake and the Great Lake Ontario as well as the other lakes and waterways in the region.  Stop by Emerson Park on Owasco Lake or John Harris Park on Cayuga Lake for swimming, picnicking and more or have a charter captain show you where the really big fish are.  You’ll find information on all of these opportunities in the new guide.

The guide features an easy to read regional map that highlights our waterfront parks as well dock – and –dine restaurants where you can get a quick snack or a gourmet meal.  Bring your appetite when you visit the Finger Lakes!

If you want to explore the Finger Lakes for a few days or even a week, we have plenty of hotels, motels, B&Bs and inns to accommodate you as well campgrounds, RV parks and cabins.  Whatever your taste and budget, you’ll find comfy places to lay your head after a long day on the water.
