The Driftwood Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes at the north shore at Sheldrake, offering a superb view of Cayuga Lake. In 1912, James Robison and his wife purchased a piece of the property known as Sheldrake Point from Mr. and Mrs. Everett, and they began construction of their new home: a beautiful, 3-story, stucco house. In 1942, the Robisons decided to start renting out rooms to guests, most of whom were doctors from the Sampson Air Base. In 1946, the Robisons' daughter, Emily, and her husband Earl Brust, bought the home and named it the Driftwood Inn. Then in 1993, the Brusts' granddaughter, Tammy, and her husband, Jim, bought the Inn. Tammy and Jim decided to call the Inn a Bed and Breakfast and remodeled the home, giving each room its own private bathroom. Driftwood Inn Bed and Breakfast has ideal accommodations for a lake-front vacation. Here you can enjoy 260 feet of private beach for swimming, boating, and fishing, and the dock extends 100 feet from shore to accommodate all types of lake craft. There are also 3 kayaks, a paddle boat, and rowboat available to guests for free during their stay. Guests rave about Tammy and Jim's hospitality, and they crave their famous plum jam after they go home from their stay. Driftwood Inn is OPEN and accepting reservations, so go check out this gorgeous family heirloom for yourself. Drift On Inn to the Driftwood Inn today!
