The new exhibit showcases the history of horticulture in Aurora throughout the nineteenth century. Highlights include rare photos of Glen Park’s orchard, greenhouse, and vineries from the Wells College Art Collection, architectural plans of N. L. Zabriskie’s ornate 1883 greenhouses from the Wells College Archives, and the garden stories of several familiar Aurora landmarks as they appear in prints, photographs, and artifacts from the Village Archives.

The Aurora Historical Society is located on the rear courtyard with Vintage Lighting; it is fully accessible by the walkway along the white wooden fence. All are welcome!

The exhibit is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m.; in addition, there will be several special events in connection with this show.
