The Cayuga Museum is pleased to announce our newest initiative – the CNY Emerging Artist Project. Showcasing nine emerging artists from the Central New York region, this juried exhibit series features a different artist each month, from March to November.

Our third artist is Arlene Pritzker.  Using the medium of traditional drafting supplies, Arlene Pritzker’s artwork investigates the memories and perceptions of her experiences within, and around, unfamiliar places. Using architectural fragments, dramatic lighting, multiple angles of view, unexpected combinations and the recurring motifs of windows, doors and stairs, she represents an intimate essence of the place.

Each show will open with a reception on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00 – 7:30 PM. Admission is $5, and Museum members are free. Refreshments will be served.
