Dinner cruises, fishing charters, lake cruises and all water activities are easily available to add into your schedule.

Cayuga County is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine Region, and has 10 award-winning wineries within the county lines. Cayuga County is a huge agricultural hub in the Northeast, and as such has access to incredible farm fresh food and produce. You can spend an afternoon sampling artisanal cheeses at the creameries of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail, scouring local farm stands and farmers markets for fresh produce and baked goods to take home with you, or see how all the fresh local ingredients culminate into gourmet fare at one of our fine, locavore restaurants.

The arts are undergoing a renaissance in Cayuga County. The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse offers the best in musical theater in season. One of the finest professional summer stock theaters in the United States, this theater has been called the Broadway in the Finger. World-class performances and shows also run at the Auburn Public Theater and the new Theater Mack at the Cayuga Museum. Add to that a range of new and established galleries, studios, exhibits and art festivals, and there’s always something for the soul to take in.

History is plentiful in Cayuga County as well. From Auburn to Aurora, there is a multitude of museums, historic sites, monuments and homes for touring and visiting.
