Tasting Event at Schweinfurth Art Center

Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail The 2018 Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail Fall tasting event will be held at the Schweinfurth Art Center as part of Auburn’s First Friday activities.  Attend the free opening reception for the Schweinfurth’s two new exhibits:  Maya Textiles and Identity in Guatemala and Reflecting Forward, a display of 3D multi-media collages by glass artist Margery Pearl Gurnett and enjoy local sweet treats provided by members of the Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail.  The Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail brochure and pass to all participating sites along with free trail tote bags (while supplies last!) will be available at the event so you can start planning your own personal tasty tour.

The Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail is all about the locally grown and produced sweets and treats that Cayuga County has to offer and runs through November 25.  Fall sweet treats include apples, cider and cider donuts as well as baked goods, jams and jellies.  There is sure to be something to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth!
