Cayuga County: An easy trip from anywhere
Cayuga County is centrally located between Albany and Buffalo in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes Region. To the North, we’re right off Exit 40 traveling east or Exit 41 traveling west on the NYS Thruway. From the South, we’re not too far off Exit 12 on I-81.
Our location makes us the perfect middle overnight stop for those traveling from NYC to Niagara Falls or vice versa. Include us in your long-term trips, and you’ll see why we are a full unique destination. More than award-winning wineries, we are home to the Case Research Lab, where sound-on-film was invented and the chosen home of hero Harriet Tubman!

We’re less than an hour from Syracuse, a little over an hour from Rochester, 2 ½ hours from Niagara Falls, 3 hours from Albany and Buffalo, 4 hours from Ottawa and Toronto, 4 ½ hours from Philly, 5 hours from NYC, 5 ½ from Pittsburgh and Cleveland, 6 hours from Boston and Akron, and 7 hours from Columbus, and Washington, DC – right off major highways.
We are here to help!
