Celebrate America 250
in Cayuga County

Celebrate America 250 in a place where history isn’t just remembered, it’s experienced. In Cayuga County, the stories of courage, innovation, and change are woven into our landscapes, landmarks, and communities. As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, join us for a lineup of events that honor our shared past while looking ahead to the future. From heritage celebrations to community gatherings, explore the events below and plan your visit.

Tour Cayuga is proud to partner with the Finger Lakes Regional Tourism Council and local organizations to honor America’s 250th anniversary. To help commemorate this milestone, a collection of posters showcasing historic scenes from throughout the Finger Lakes, along with a companion coloring book, has been created. Copies of the coloring book can be picked up at the Equal Rights Heritage Center, Seymour Library, Auburn YMCA & Owasco Farmer’s Market and posters will be available soon at the Equal Rights Heritage Center.
