WINTER EVENTS IN THE FINGER LAKES WARM THE HEART & SOUL
Plenty to do on Cayuga County’s on-line Calendar of Events
January 26, 2012, Cayuga County, NY - Winter events in Cayuga County will warm your heart and soul. From unique museum exhibits to live comedy, you’ll find an event that makes you look forward to winter in the Finger Lakes.
How about dinner and a show? Off-Broadway’s phenomenal longest-running musical, “ I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” comes to the Springside Inn on February 13th. What a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your ‘perfect’ partner.
If you want to laugh the winter blues away, an evening at Auburn Public Theater is in order. Singer, songwriter, and entertainer, Christine Lavin shares her liquid voice and comic genius with you on January 29th and in February stand-up comedians Moody McCarthy and Paul Morrissey will make you laugh out loud.
March 26 and 27 you can ‘Say Cheese’ while you savor artisan cheeses and fine wines along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. The Trail is even hosting a special ‘Say Cheese’ photo contest, with the winner who takes the best wine and cheese photo at the event receiving a specialty gift basket filled with goodies from local cheesemakers and wineries. Yummmmm!
