**Museum temporarily closed** Explore Your History: Nine Decades of Collecting, a new history exhibit at the Cayuga Museum, invites visitors to interact with Cayuga County history in new ways. Write a letter after looking at the “portable” desk of Enos Throop, guess which spice is contained in a decades old spice rack, and carry an old yoke once used to carry water from place to place. You will then be encouraged to vote on parts of the exhibit which you enjoyed the most, with the intent of one day building a permanent exhibit on the history of Auburn and Cayuga County that truly reflects the interests of the community. Visitors are also invited to come to the second floor and take a look at the active inventory of our painting collection. Come talk to us about the work we do behind the scenes and see it for yourself!  Dive into our historic collection and tell us what you want to see more of in the future!
