Path through history logoThe Path Through History (PTH) is an initiative that connects historic and cultural attractions throughout New York State. The PTH not only showcases New York’s unparalleled network of museums, historic sites, and other cultural institutions, it also helps promote tourism, economic development, and creates jobs.

As part of the Path Through History initiative, on June 7 & 8 and June 14 & 15 cultural and heritage sites throughout the state will host special programming, tours and events or provide reduced or free admission, to celebrate the unique history of New York State.

In Cayuga County, the following events are planned to celebrate our wonderful history in a unique way:

  •  Of Many Voices: Antislavery Reform in Upstate New York, 1835-1860, June 8, Historic Mentz Church, Montezuma
