Sale after Sale on Route 90
Deals to be found at 50-Mile Garage Sale
The annual Route 90 Garage Sale to be held July 25 and 26, 2015 offers 50 miles of collectibles, antiques and bargains! Stretching along Route 90, a New York State Scenic Byway that runs from Montezuma to Homer, you’ll find hundreds of vendors selling everything imaginable from antique lamps to ‘70s memorabilia and loads of other unexpected delights.
Held annually, the last full weekend in July the ‘official’ hours of the sale are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, but insiders say that vendors often set up earlier. Come early, stay late and wear some comfy shoes as you’ll want to be on foot to really examine the tables full of treasures. There will be plenty of food along the way, from pancake breakfasts to chicken BBQs, prepared by local clubs, fire departments and other non-profits to keep up your stamina !
To help you find your way along the Route, the Cayuga County Office of Tourism and the Cortland County Convention and Visitors Bureau have teamed up to produce a Route 90 50-Mile Garage Sale brochure.
