Easter is one of the holidays many of us look forward to, I would even say it is almost as magical as Christmas! Easter has always represented the end of winter and the beginning of Spring to me. I always looked forward to a new bright Easter outfit, no more dark heavy winter clothes, a basket full of spring toys and candy. As I have gotten older, Easter represents getting together with family and friends for a great meal an egg hunt, and the promise of sunnier warmer weather,
Easter is just around the corner and Cayuga County is prepared with Easter Egg Hunts, Easter Sunday Brunches and Easter Bunny appearances that are sure to make this year’s holiday memorable.

Our 4th Annual Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt is currently underway! There are 50 Easter Eggs Hidden Throughout the Museum for each of the 3 age categories. For each category there are a list of clues to help you find the eggs. Read the clue and locate the egg. On the line at the end of the clue write down the location of the egg When you have found all 50 eggs and have written down their locations on the entry form hand in your entry to the Museum Aid in attendance Every participant is a winner and will receive a prize. Admission to the museum and parking are free!

Hop on over to MacKenzie-Childs Aurora for two Easter egg hunts. On Friday March 29, adults can hunt in our store from 10 am to 5 pm (or until all eggs are gone) for eggs filled with candy, product discounts, and special giveaways. On Saturday March 30, children 12 and under can hunt on our grounds at 1:00 pm for eggs filled with candy and surprise-and-delight coupons. Please arrive by 12:55 am for the lineup and be advised that the hunt will be postponed if there is snow or rain.
