It’s time to say Goodbye to 2021 and Hello to 2022!
Planning on going out this New Year’s Eve? Or are you planning on skipping the big parties but still want to celebrate? There isn’t just one way to celebrate the New Year, check out the list below for a few ideas on how to celebrate, there are many options here in Cayuga County.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn NY will be hosting a New Year's Eve Party complete with dinner, dancing, live music, champagne toast and ball drop. If you don't want to go out in the cold they are offering packages complete with overnight stays that include, late check out and breakfast.
Inns of Aurora-1833 Kitchen and Bar-Roaring fireplaces, plenty of champagne, and our special tasting menu set the stage for an intimate and romantic celebration of another terrific year. Raise a toast or two to good friends, family, and great health. Please note that we will offer our special five-course menu in replace of our standard dinner menu this evening. Seatings from 5:00 — 10:00 p.m. Five-course menu, $125+ per person, optional wine pairing available.
Treleaven Wines in King Ferry will be hosting a New Year's Eve comedy show, tickets are now on sale. End the year with a laugh and join us for what's sure to be an incredible evening! We are excited to welcome Homebrewed Comedy to the Barrel Room to ring in the New Year. Show begins at 8pm; doors open at 7pm. A specialty New Year's Eve dinner menu will be available prior to the show. Reservations for dinner (5:00-7:30pm) are required. Small bites and tapas will be available during the show. AT Walley's in downtown Auburn is a unique cocktail lounge that offers a wide variety of whiskeys, specialty cocktails, and great service in an upscale atmosphere. From 4-7pm enjoy live music and drink specials and from 9pm-1am enjoy an open bar and a midnight pizza party. Cost for the second half of the party is $40 per person or $70 per couple
Aurora Brewing Co is at Party At The Moon Tower. Join us New Year’s Eve, as we release our OG fruited sour, one of our first, and one of our faves—Party at the Moontower. We’ll kick off at 5, with food specials, moontower spritzes, and we’re welcoming back the sickest jazz trio, Not from Brooklyn to play for us from 6-9 and we’ll be extending draft room hours until 10pm.

Reconnecting with nature is good for the soul and psyche at any time of the year. Take a trail hike on your own or with family at Sterling Nature Center in Sterling or check out their socially distant programs such as the Owl Prowl, Year’s End Hike, and Sunset Walks. Snap some scenic shots and hang on to those memories to relive throughout the year.
Try ice skating at Casey Park Ice Rink in Auburn, Casey Park Ice Rink also offers open skating Fridays 6-10 pm, Saturdays 4-8 pm and Sundays 2-6 pm. Admission is only $5 per person which includes skate rental.
