The Evermore, formerly the Mackenzie-Childs Estate, has been lovingly restored and opened as a bed and breakfast. The original farmhouse is from 1780 and many of the rough hewn beams, wide plank floors and lath and plaster walls are still present. You will also discover the magical and unexpected touches from artists, Victoria and Richard MacKenzie-Childs, who lived here for 30 years and used the home as a canvas for their whimsical line of ceramics and housewares. This home is nestled down a cobbled driveway with beautiful grounds that maintain a rustic elegance in the middle of farmland overlooking Cayuga Lake. The carriage house was built in 1993 but breathes an old world charm. It was recently re-envisioned with creative input from Victoria and Richard.
