Harriet Tubman’s Lantern Trail

Walk the streets of Auburn and experience Harriet Tubman’s chosen hometown in an entirely new way. The Lantern Trail combines storytelling, history, and technology to immerse visitors in the places that shaped Harriet Tubman’s remarkable life. Scan each lantern marker to unlock videos and historical content, then complete the trail to earn a special souvenir from the Equal Rights Heritage Center.

Public Art Trail

Auburn’s Public Art Trail transforms downtown into an open-air gallery. Murals, sculptures, and installations tell the stories of the people, places, and creativity that make this community unique. Grab a map or use the interactive online guide and explore at your own pace while learning about the artists behind each piece

Walking Trail

Built on a historically significant 83-acre site that features ancient Native American burial mounds dating back to 1100 A.D. This peaceful, park-like landscape has welcomed visitors since 1852. Stroll its winding paths to discover the final resting places of remarkable individuals, including Harriet Tubman, William H. Seward, Martha Coffin Wright, and Theodore Case. Grab a brochure at the gate and start exploring.

Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail

One of Cayuga County’s sweetest adventures is back! The Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail  is a self-guided tour that invites you to discover locally owned bakeries, ice cream stands, candy shops, farm markets, and cafés throughout the county.
