Internationally recognized fiber artist Paula Kovarik presents HERD, a solo exhibition featuring her latest work. Exploring themes she describes as "the odd and edgy," the exhibition includes a collection of stitched, three-dimensional creatures ranging from striped brutes to elegant beasts. These imaginative forms expand her practice beyond two-dimensional textiles into sculptural works that are both playful and thought-provoking. Select beasts will be raffled off, with winners drawn following Kovarik's Artist's Talk on Dec. 6, 2026.

HOURS: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday; 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday

The Schweinfurth Art Center will be closed on holidays and during special events; check our website at myartcenter.org for a notice on the home page if the Schweinfurth is shut.
