Workshop: "Objects of Love" w/ Vanessa Johnson
Join artist and Griot Vanessa Johnson for a workshop in which you and fellow attendees will create your own gris gris, small pouches which are worn around the neck and serve as protective talismans or charms and descend from West and Central African spiritual traditions. Beginner sewers welcome!
This workshop will be located in the Schweinfurth Art Center's Sewing Studio. Admission is free, donations appreciated.
