As the days are getting shorter and the weather slowly shifts toward winter, birds undertake their spectacular fall migration. We normally concentrate on spring migration, but avian migration happens twice a year as birds fly thousands of miles through the night. Some will stop to rest and refuel along the way at the Sterling Nature Center giving us the opportunity to observe them. Enjoy the fall landscape as we seek out the birdlife of the Sterling Nature Center.
