Film Screening + Discussion: "Platoon (1986)"
The diary of a green Vietnam GI shows the realities of that conflict as soldiers fight enemies, including bugs, C-rations, jungle rot, marijuana and a demoralized sergeant, as well as the Vietcong. A Q&A discussion will follow the screening.
Admission is free, donations appreciated. This screening is associated with the ongoing exhibit “From Revolution to Reflection: America at War” on display at the Cayuga Museum.
