176-178 Genesee St, Auburn, NY, United States, New York 13021, 176 Genesee St, NY 13021-3404
The role and perspectives of Native Americans during the Revolutionary War are often overlooked. Thousands of Haudenosaunee, including Queen Catharine Montour, a leader of her people, were swept up into this tsunami for freedom. Author Cynthia G. Neale will discuss the research that went into writing Catharine, Queen of the Tumbling Waters, a historical fiction novel inspired by the unsung Iroquois heroine and her people.
Copies of the book will be available to purchase.
