Northville Arts Center King Ferry, 999 State Route 34B, King Ferry, NY, United States
WebsiteDirections
Experience nineteenth-century Genoa in three dimensions at the Northville Arts Center! The “Genoa in 3D” exhibit features more than a dozen local stereoscopic photographs taken during the 1870s and 1880s, offering a vivid glimpse of the people, places, and everyday life of the period. Using classic red-and-blue 3D glasses, visitors can see these historic scenes come to life.
An exhibit open house will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5. At 1:00 p.m., exhibit curator Vince Slaugh will give a brief talk about the photographs and the stories behind them, followed by a Q&A.
The exhibit will remain on display during the Northville Arts Center’s regular hours through October 4.
Families are also invited to a separate event at 11:00 a.m. in the Genoa Historical Association’s Threshing Barn, featuring an interactive reading and children’s songs about harvest time on a nineteenth-century farm.
