Your a Good Man Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang will take center stage this September when Auburn Players Community Theatre presents the musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at Auburn Public Theater.

Running September 18-20, the musical brings Charles M. Schulz’s beloved characters off the comic strip and onto the stage for a production filled with music, laughter and familiar Peanuts moments.

Through a series of songs and scenes, Charlie Brown and his friends navigate school, friendship, big dreams and everyday challenges, capturing the humor and heart that have made Peanuts a favorite for generations.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring this musical and these beloved characters to life for our community,” said Derrick Reed, president of Auburn Players Community Theatre. “There’s something so timeless about Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang. The show is funny and nostalgic, but it also has a lot of heart and reminds us that happiness can be found in the simplest moments.”

The production is part of Auburn Players Community Theatre’s 65th anniversary season. The volunteer-run nonprofit has been bringing live theater to the Auburn community for more than six decades while providing opportunities for local performers, musicians, directors, designers, technicians and volunteers.
